Celebrating Women and Girls in Table Tennis at Kennet Vale

I was delighted to be invited to deliver a dedicated women and girls coaching session at Kennet Vale Table Tennis Club, near Marlborough in Wiltshire. Due to high demand, the event was expanded into two 90-minute sessions, each welcoming 12 enthusiastic players.

With an impressive age range from 12 to 78, the sessions truly reflected the inclusive and inspiring nature of women’s sport. Together, we worked on developing the basic strokes, while also exploring key techniques and tactics for serving and returning. The focus was on building confidence, improving consistency, and helping everyone enjoy their game even more.

The atmosphere throughout the afternoon was fantastic, with players supporting one another and embracing the opportunity to learn and improve. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and a wonderful celebration of women and girls in table tennis.
